PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA

 PARIKSHA  PE  CHARCHA
Kendriya Vidyalaya Minambakkam made all necessary arrangements to facilitate viewing of “Parkisha pe charcha” at 11pm. More than 900 students witnessed our honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi’s interaction with students, teacher and parents all over India was indeed a step towards development.
He said that his aim is not to advise teaches or students but to live as one among them with their mindset. His advice to the students was that students should not lose their confidence and should not worry about their exams. Even if they fail in exams, life doesn’t end there. There are still hopes of living a good life. One should lead his life in pursuit of victory; instead he should live for his own satisfaction. The students’ aim should be endowed with challenges overcoming which, they can transform into a person of excellence. One should learn from their servant maids to manage time efficiently.
He said that parents often impose their unrealized dreams on their children which becomes a burden on them. Parents make their child’s report cards as their visiting cards. He advised parents that they should not let loose their duties of bringing up their children.
He said that nowadays technology is making the students as robots. It curbs their thinking and creativity. Children have forgotten to play outdoor games. Technology can be used for many good purposes instead of using it to play games.
He concluded by saying that one should not compete with others, instead he should compete with himself. The students show word stress and fear of exams and understand that they create their own destiny.
He expressed his happiness of meeting students all over the nation and interacting with them.
Recognizing the importance of timely guidance, the Vidyalaya arranged for a session for students of class X, in the  AV room at 1.45PM. Smt. A. Jyothi, PGT (English) addressed the students , reiterating on the ideas placed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi.
In the interactive session, students shared their views on the usefulness of the programme, telecast for their advantage at different classroom in the Vidyalaya. Mrs. Jyothi, encouraged students to view examination as a fine opportunity to acquire knowledge and assess one’s strength. Exam related pressure and stress could be avoided if students cultivate focus on the task at hand, develop strength in character to act. Students must set achievable targets and must not be disappointed if one does not attain it.
Thus the programme towards looking at Examination as a journey and facing it with self confidence was successfully organized under the Coordination of Smt Shanthi PGT(Eco) , Sh. Aravamudhan, TGT (Mathematics) and Department of Computer Science .
